Location: Long Beach Peninsula, Washington State – a beautiful place to live with diverse natural attractions in a quaint rural setting. We are situated approximately 30 minutes from Astoria, Oregon, 2 hours from Portland, Oregon, and 3.5 hours from Seattle, Washington.
Full Time Compounding Pharmacist (Will Train in Compounding)
Position Type: Full-Time | 40 hours/week
Hourly Wage: $70 an hour
Description
This will be a position serves our closed-door non-sterile compounding pharmacy. No experience compounding? No problem, we will train you! Our compounding operation is growing rapidly and we are looking for a pharmacist to grow with it.
The pharmacist ensures the accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions through thorough Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance in accordance with state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations. They comply with HIPAA and all relevant laws, support business and script growth by delivering clinical services such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management, and provide excellent customer service through counseling and issue resolution. The role includes supervising and training support staff, managing daily pharmacy operations, maintaining department security and organization, and completing essential tasks such as inventory management, cycle counts, and will-calls. The pharmacist also collaborates with physicians and uses reference materials to address prescription concerns. Part Time or Full Time Retail Pharmacist
Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time | 20–40 hours/week
Hourly Wage: $67+ an hour
Locations: Hiring in Long Beach Washington and Hiring in Raymond Washington
Description
The pharmacist ensures the accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions by conducting thorough Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance in accordance with federal and state Board of Pharmacy regulations. They support profitable business and script growth by implementing recommended clinical programs, including immunizations, MTM, DCS, and other ongoing initiatives. The role requires delivering excellent customer service, offering healthcare counseling, and resolving customer concerns to build trust and loyalty. The pharmacist supervises support staff, assists with training and coaching, and assumes full management responsibilities when needed. They maintain proper department security, comply with HIPAA and all other applicable laws, and collaborate with physicians to resolve prescription-related issues. Additional responsibilities include keeping the pharmacy clean and organized, as well as prioritizing and completing essential tasks such as inventory management, cycle counts, and customer will-calls to ensure efficient daily operations.
